Customers have told us that they are receiving unsolicited phone calls from an automated phone system purporting to be from "Bancorp Bank." The automated voice states that your bank card has had suspected fraudulent activity, and it asks for card account details. It is our understanding that these calls are from an unlisted phone number and that no call-back number is provided.
The Bancorp Bank is not the source of these calls, and you should assume that their purpose is to steal your personal account information. We strongly suggest that you do not respond to any unsolicited phone calls that ask for your personal banking information.
