My Branch in a Box™, or "remote deposit," operates by scanning your check deposit and transmitting the information directly to the bank for processing. Checks are scanned, transmitted, and cleared electronically rather than by paper. The result is faster crediting of deposits, more efficient collections, and amazing convenience. Depositing checks remotely is made possible by Check 21 legislation.
The Bancorp Bank will send you a check scanner that connects to your computer via a USB port. The scanner will read your checks and transmit information securely via your High Speed Access internet connection.
After your deposit is submitted, the funds will be made available to you faster than a traditional deposit*.
